Apologies to Peter, but I decided to take some time to respond to his post. It took me a while to figure out how to respond to his napkin doodle, but I began thinking in class the other day how often people doodle on whatever it is that is in front of them. It started as I was in class staring at a Coke can, and then found myself drawing Coca-Cola Mountains? It's amazing when you look at people's sketchbooks, and even at just random notes how much imagination you can find.
I decided to look through my notebooks from last semester and see if there were any sketches. I usually just find myself making small designs in corners of pages, so here are some that I came across. I know for a fact that Peter and I are not the only people who do this. I have heard of art therapy classes where people draw lines and shapes to express their emotions, and even some types music therapy. I think I want to make a collection of these at the end of each semester just to try to recollect on where my mind was during these times.
If anyone would like to add to this I think that would be awesome. Or if anyone has any cool techniques for creative therapies?
